I am a philosopher of softness. A builder of worlds. A person who has always believed that tenderness is not a weakness to be protected — it is an intelligence to be practiced. I created Tendercore because the world told me to make myself smaller, and I decided to build a civilization instead.
My name is Destiny Rainney. I write as Des is the ism — because the way I see the world is not just a perspective, it is a philosophy. I am the founder of Tendercore™, the creator of the Tenderealm, the host of Talkin' Tender podcast, and the author of Tender Takes — short aphorisms on emotional depth that I release into the world one at a time.
I believe that language creates reality. I believe that beauty is a form of resistance. I believe that the people who feel everything too deeply are not too much — they are exactly enough.

It began with one word that didn't exist yet.
Tendercore did not begin with a brand strategy or a business plan. It began with a single invented word: Whimsdom. The balance between whimsy and wisdom. A word that had no dictionary entry but felt more true than anything that did.
More language followed. Then the language needed places to live — so the regions emerged. They came directly from wordplay rooted in my own vocabulary: dilly and dally became Dillington and Dallington. Frolicking became Frolicfield. Whimsy became Whimsingdale. The world was built to give the language somewhere to breathe.
That is the origin story — and it matters, because it explains everything about how this project works. Bloomscript did not get invented to describe the Tenderealm. The Tenderealm was built to give Bloomscript a home. The philosophy was not written to explain the world. The world was built because the philosophy needed somewhere to live.
The through-line underneath everything: tenderness. The Tenderealm is the heart. To protect the realm is to protect the heart. That is the thesis, the mission, and the reason the whole world exists.
This is not one thing.
It never was.
